Tech Support Policy

  January 1, 2001

 In order to clarify the Tech Support Policy of the company, the following are the details of that policy.

 Currently, when a dealer purchases a POSey system, 30 days unlimited free tech support is available. Most dealers are selling at least 1 system per month, and thereby have free on-going tech support.

Recognizing that some time usually elapses between dealer purchase and installation, the tech support team automatically adds 7 days to the 30-day period and is not strict in observing the absolute date of expiration.

The intention is to allow a dealer the necessary tech support time to effect a good installation.

For the dealer who is not selling a system per month, tech support is available on a packaged, per incident basis.

POSey dealers may purchase a 5 incident package at $300. These incidents may be used at any time, and regardless of the time required to solve a problem, 1 incident will be deducted.

We have found that while some incidents are solved very quickly, the average support time required to solve a problem, including callbacks, is in excess of 2 hours.
